Job Title: Associate Vice-President Agriculture

As a key member of the National Bank team, you will play a vital role in driving the success of our Commercial and Private Banking 1859 strategy. This exciting opportunity will see you take charge of a team of specialists who contribute to the growth of agricultural producers by offering advice, support, and financial services tailored to clients.

Your Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of specialists to effectively manage client relationships and drive business growth.
  • Develop a skilled and proactive sales force to deliver exceptional client experiences.
  • Support organizational changes and contribute to the development of your team through a multidisciplinary approach.
  • Identify and develop business opportunities in your market, increase your commercial client base, and establish business development strategies.
  • Oversee a sustainable and profitable growth plan and meet financial performance targets.
  • Manage risks inherent to the sector and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Seek to expand your knowledge and that of your team in integrated consulting services Commercial and Private Banking 1859.
  • Identify and propose ways to improve process and system efficiency.
  • Stay up-to-date with economic trends affecting the Commercial Banking sector and ensure that products and services meet evolving client needs.
  • Promote the Bank's products and services with external parties.
Your Team:

You will lead a team of 16 employees, including Account Managers and Account representatives, reporting to the Vice President Agriculture. Our training programs focus on on-the-job learning, and you will have access to personalized training content and colleagues with diverse expertise.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field and 10 years of relevant experience.
  • Master's degree in a related field and 8 years of relevant experience.
  • Significant experience dealing with Commercial Banking clients (mid-market and/or agriculture).
  • Knowledge of the agricultural sector or field.
  • Solid background in personnel management.
  • Experience in complex financing structures and risk analysis.
  • Experience in sales coaching.
  • Negotiation experience.
  • Ability to maximize the use of sales management tools.
