Market Sector Leader for Rail and Transit

Arcadis is seeking a seasoned professional to lead our Rail and Transit Market Sector. This strategic leadership position involves driving growth, overseeing business development initiatives, and providing subject matter expertise in the rail and multimodal transit sector.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and execute market strategies to expand our presence in the transit market.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, stakeholders, and industry partners.
- Lead and support key account managers for our transit clients in Canada.
- Collaborate with other sector leaders and business areas for cross-functional initiatives.
- Use market intelligence to inform decision-making and develop strategies for maintaining a competitive edge.
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, systems engineering, transportation planning, business, or a related field.
- Proven experience (20+ years) in a leadership role within the rail and multimodal transit sector.
- Strong business development skills and a track record of successfully winning and managing projects.
- In-depth knowledge of rail, transit, and multimodal transportation planning, design, and construction.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Previous leadership positions within public transit agencies.
- Active leader within the American Public Transportation Association (APTA).
- Significant experience in understanding transit agency needs in delivering passenger rail, rail transit, and high-capacity bus transit projects.
- Professional Engineer (P. Eng) license or relevant certifications preferred.
