About the Opportunity

Agnico Eagle Mines Limited is seeking a skilled Human Resources Administrator to join our team at the Detour Lake Mine site. As a key member of our Human Resources department, you will provide administrative support to ensure the efficient functioning of our HR operations.

Responsibilities
  • Process and verify documentation related to HR activities, including legal employee documents, recruitment, performance management, and salary administration.
  • Input payroll changes in Success Factors accurately and timely according to payroll deadlines.
  • Ensure the integrity of Success Factors and SAP data through standard auditing practices.
  • Provide support to the recruitment process and on-boarding of new employees.
  • Advise employees on relevant policies and procedures, or direct employee inquiries to the appropriate person.
  • Act as a liaison between benefit carriers and provide benefits and payroll administration support.
  • Provide training and guidance to site timekeepers for the integrity of time management with HRIS time and payroll modules.
  • Compare data, statistics, and other information and conduct research when required.
Qualifications
  • Diploma or degree in HR or Business Administration, or equivalent experience required.
  • Achieved or working towards CHRP designation.
  • Minimum three years' experience in a human resources role.
  • Minimum five years' experience in administrative support.
  • Experience with Success Factors and SAP is considered a strong asset.
  • Very detail-oriented and able to handle multiple priorities.
  • Strong emotional intelligence.
  • Excellent working knowledge of all Microsoft Office Suite applications, especially Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
