Job Title: Director Integrated Release and Operations


Job Summary:


The Director Integrated Release and Operations is a key trusted role, responsible for orchestrating the comprehensive release management and operational support processes for a suite of SaaS-based products. This role demands a strategic visionary who can elegantly integrate release cycles with operational efficiency to ensure the flawless delivery and support of IT services.


Key Responsibilities:



  • Develop and execute a robust release management strategy, ensuring seamless integration with business operations.
  • Establish a streamlined release schedule, facilitating cross-functional team coordination for successful product deployments.
  • Collaborate with the ITSM team to support Change Advisory Board (CAB) processes, ensuring business continuity and minimizing impact on Front Lines.
  • Oversee comprehensive release management, ensuring high-quality standards for user acceptance testing (UAT) and practices across multiple domains.
  • Assess operational risks, developing effective risk mitigation strategies, and identifying potential risks by asking tough questions.
  • Lead change initiatives, driving business transformation and process improvements.
  • Provide strategic leadership and guidance to cross-functional teams, prioritizing business objectives and ensuring successful outcomes.
  • Manage and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, executive leadership, and vendors, negotiating contracts to ensure optimal service levels and pricing.
  • Develop and maintain a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement, fostering a positive and inclusive team culture.

Requirements:



  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Certification in relevant IT disciplines (e.g., ITIL, PMP) preferred.
  • 5-7 years' experience as an Operations Director or similar role, managing large-scale IT portfolios and operations across multiple domains.
  • 5-7 years' successful leadership of an IT operations team.
  • Proven track record in effectively managing IT budgets and resources to ensure cost-effective operations.
  • Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
  • Strong customer service orientation.
  • Ability to make sound and logical judgments, present ideas in a user-friendly language, and keen attention to detail.
