Job Summary

We are seeking a qualified Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our long-term care team in Bedford. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, including medication administration, resident checks and rounds, and personal care.

Responsibilities

  • Administer medications as prescribed by physicians
  • Conduct regular resident checks and rounds, including vital sign monitoring and safety assessments
  • Provide personal care to residents, including feeding, dressing, and wound care
  • Support residents, families, and staff with their questions and concerns
  • Perform general duties and administration tasks, including mail, paperwork, and supply ordering

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited school of Licensed Practical Nurses with pharmacological training
  • Licensed Practical Nurse registered in the Province of Nova Scotia
  • Current basic CPR certification
  • Recent clinical experience in medication administration and leadership roles
  • Demonstrated ability to work on a regular and consistent basis

Compensation

The salary for this position is estimated at $45-$60 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications. We offer a competitive benefits package and opportunities for professional growth and development.
