Position Overview

The primary responsibility of the District Sales Executive (DSE) is to drive results that align with the strategic objectives of the organization. A proactive mindset, competitive spirit, and the ability to maintain focus on outcomes amidst evolving circumstances are essential for success in this role.

The DSE plays a pivotal role in coordinating the involvement of various stakeholders in our sales process, ensuring that new customer revenue is consistently generated for our district office and the broader Expeditors network. This dynamic role offers flexibility, opportunities for growth, and recognition for achieving business objectives. The position reports directly to the District Sales Manager.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a designated territory with comprehensive knowledge of potential clients and competitors.
  • Ensure timely data entry in our Customer Relationship Management system.
  • Facilitate customer and branch relationships while collaborating with regional Product, Service, Geo, and Knowledge Management teams.
  • Contribute to the development of value-added solutions tailored to customers' logistics requirements, including supporting diagrams and cost-benefit analyses.
  • Assist in the onboarding of new accounts through customer introductions, information transfer, and securing necessary documentation.
  • Participate in training and development sessions to enhance sales skills and stay updated on Expeditors' products and services.
  • Engage with local trade associations as directed by the District Sales Manager.
  • Take on additional responsibilities as needed to support company objectives.
