Perinatal Nursing Content Expert/Curriculum Developer

Thompson Rivers University, Open Learning (TRU-OL) is seeking a qualified content expert/curriculum developer to revise the HLTH 2911: Perinatal Nursing: Foundation course. The successful candidate will work under the guidance of the Instructional Designer and collaborate with the course development team to develop a detailed framework for the course, including learning outcomes, activities, and assessments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Participate in brainstorming and planning sessions
- Develop a detailed framework for the course
- Revise and/or develop content, including learning activities and assessments
- Create multimedia or other active learning activities to ensure student engagement
- Choose effective and appropriate resources, prioritizing low-cost and accessible options
Requirements:
- PhD preferred, Master's degree in Nursing required
- Demonstration of current and ongoing engagement in the course subject matter
- Proven course development skills in face-to-face or distant environment
- Demonstrated ability to write in a clear and consistent style with grammatical accuracy
- Ability to meet deadlines and work collaboratively
