Perinatal Nursing Content Expert/Curriculum Developer

Thompson Rivers University, Open Learning (TRU-OL) is seeking a qualified content expert/curriculum developer to revise HLTH 2911: Perinatal Nursing: Foundation. The successful candidate will work under the guidance of the Instructional Designer and collaborate with the course development team to create a comprehensive online course.
Key Responsibilities- Develop a detailed framework for the course, including learning outcomes, activities, and assessments.
- Revise and/or create content, learning activities, and authentic assessments to ensure relevance and appropriateness for an online continuous entry course.
- Create multimedia or other active learning activities to promote student engagement through experiential learning.
- Choose effective and accessible resources, prioritizing Open Educational Resources (OERs) and TRU's e-Library collection.
- PhD preferred; Master's degree in Nursing required.
- Demonstration of current engagement in the course subject matter through research and/or scholarship of teaching.
- Proven course development skills in face-to-face or distant environments.
- Demonstrated ability to write in a clear and consistent style with grammatical accuracy.
- Ability to meet deadlines and work collaboratively.
