Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Pharmacy Support Specialist to join our team at Lawtons in Kentville, Nova Scotia.

About the Role
  • Provide exceptional patient-centered care and exceed patients' expectations.
  • Process customer transactions, receive and release prescriptions, and record deliveries.
  • Promote PROfile programs and assist with other pharmacy operations as required.
Responsibilities
  • Prescription assembly and data entry.
  • Customer service and transaction processing.
  • Refill requests and delivery management.
  • Compounding and pill pack assembly.
  • Filing prescriptions, ordering supplies, and cleaning.
  • Drug order creation and receiving.
  • Scheduling professional clinical services.
  • BTC management and administrative duties.
Requirements
  • Preferred: Undergraduate degree or Pharmacy Technology Certificate.
  • Previous pharmacy experience is an asset.
  • Excellent attention to detail, ability to multi-task, and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
