Job Summary

PCL Constructors Canada Inc. is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Proposal Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our proposal development team, you will play a critical role in the creation and submission of high-quality proposals to secure new business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Proposal Planning and Development
    • Work closely with proposal managers and subject matter experts to develop comprehensive proposal plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and content outlines.
    • Conduct thorough research on client requirements, industry trends, and competitor activity to inform proposal development.
  • Content Creation and Editing
    • Collaborate with writers, designers, and subject matter experts to create high-quality proposal content, including text, graphics, and visual aids.
    • Review and edit proposal content for accuracy, consistency, and compliance with client requirements.
  • Proposal Tracking and Management
    • Develop and maintain proposal tracking matrices to ensure timely and efficient proposal development and submission.
    • Coordinate with proposal managers and subject matter experts to ensure all proposal components are complete and accurate.
  • Client Communication and Relationship Building
    • Communicate with clients to understand their needs and preferences, and to ensure proposal content meets their requirements.
    • Build and maintain relationships with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams to ensure seamless proposal development and submission.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Post-secondary degree in marketing, communications, journalism, or a related field.
    • Minimum 2 years of experience in proposal development, marketing, or a related field.
  • Skills and Competencies
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Strong organizational and time management skills, with ability to prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Cloud, and other relevant marketing software systems.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
