Job Summary

PCL Constructors Canada Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Proposal Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our proposal development team, you will be responsible for coordinating the development of high-quality proposals that meet the needs of our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Proposal Planning and Coordination
    • Assist in the planning and coordination of proposal development, including the review of client requirements and the development of proposal responsibility matrices and content outlines.
    • Coordinate the creation of timelines and assignments, and schedule pursuit kick-offs.
  • Client Research and Analysis
    • Conduct research on clients to identify potential risks and opportunities.
    • Develop a deep understanding of client needs and preferences.
  • Proposal Content Development
    • Assist in the development of high-quality proposal content, including text and visual materials.
    • Proofread and edit proposal content to ensure accuracy and consistency.
  • Proposal Tracking and Management
    • Develop and maintain a proposal-tracking matrix to ensure timely and accurate proposal submissions.
  • Collaboration and Communication
    • Work closely with proposal team members to ensure seamless proposal development and submission.
    • Communicate effectively with clients and internal stakeholders to ensure proposal requirements are met.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Post-secondary degree or diploma in marketing, communications, journalism, or equivalent.
  • Experience
    • Co-op or intern experience in proposals or a related field (communications, marketing, visual communications) is preferred.
  • Skills
    • Strong project management, organizational, and time management skills.
    • Working knowledge of proposal fundamentals and best practices.
    • Competent InDesign layout skills and proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud.
    • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and other relevant marketing software systems.
