We are seeking a Restaurant Host/Hostess to join our team at The Curry Pot. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to multitask, and have a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise staff and ensure a smooth dining experience for our customers
  • Schedule staff and manage the front-of-house operations
  • Inspect dining rooms and other food and beverage serving areas to ensure they meet our high standards
  • Maintain accurate financial records and handle customer payments
  • Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner
  • Provide menu information and answer customer questions
  • Attend to seating arrangements for large groups and ensure a seamless dining experience
  • Greet customers and provide a warm welcome to our restaurant
  • Receive customer reservations and assign tables

Requirements:

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field
  • Criminal record check
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and stand for extended periods
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and maintain a high level of professionalism
