At Subway Sandwich, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team.
Job Summary:The Food Service Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service team, ensuring that high-quality food and exceptional customer service are delivered to our customers.
Key Responsibilities:- Establish and implement efficient work schedules to meet customer demand.
- Requisition and manage food and kitchen supplies to maintain optimal inventory levels.
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring adherence to quality control standards.
- Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
- Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
- Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage to inform inventory management decisions.
- Prepare and submit reports to management on a regular basis.
- Develop and maintain knowledge of our culinary genres to provide expert recommendations to customers.
- Supervise and check the assembly of trays and delivery of food trolleys to ensure timely and accurate service.
- Establish and maintain effective communication with staff, management, and customers to ensure seamless operations.
- 3-4 years of experience in a food service or hospitality environment.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and perform manual tasks.
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Fast-paced environment with high customer demand.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Combination of sitting, standing, walking, and manual tasks.
- Client-focused and able to provide exceptional customer service.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Flexibility and ability to adapt to changing situations.
- Team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
- 1-7 months of experience in a food service or hospitality environment.
- Permanent position with 35 hours of work per week.
- English language proficiency.
