Grocery Department Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Grocery Manager to join our team at Federated Co-operatives Limited. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for leading the Grocery Department and ensuring the highest level of service to our members and guests.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the Grocery Department and ensure alignment with our Core Values and Brand.
- Provide exceptional guest service and promote a culture of safety and quality.
- Manage and develop a high-performing team, including performance management, talent development, and engagement.
- Ensure the safe and effective operation of the Grocery Department, including scheduling, ordering, and inventory management.
- Develop and implement strategies to drive sales growth and improve customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with other departments to achieve business objectives and improve overall store performance.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices, and apply this knowledge to drive continuous improvement.
- 3-5 years of experience in a supervisory role in the retail food industry.
- Food Safe Certification.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and make sound decisions under pressure.
