Grocery Store Supervisor

What you’ll do:
The Grocery Supervisor will perform a variety of responsibilities in the operation, ensuring alignment with our Core Values and Brand.
Understanding and following Westview Co-op’s Health and Safety Program and promoting a culture of safety including all Food Safety standards Providing Exceptional Guest service to our Members and Guests and living by our Brand expectations through our “You’re at Home Here” motto Lead the direction for Team Members in all areas including Performance Management, Talent Development, Engagement, Talent Acquisition, Orientation & Onboarding Responsible for overall safe, effective operations of the Grocery Department. This includes but is not limited to scheduling, ensuring orders are placed, Brand Standards, Production, packaging, and merchandising of products Accurate ordering and receiving of product Ensure high level of image and cleanliness in line with our Brand expectations Other projects and assignments as requiredThis position requires the use of equipment, as well as heavy lifting of product.

Understanding of our Values (Integrity, Community, Teamwork) Exceptional Guest service skills Strong attention to detail as well as organizational and interpersonal skills Quality communication skills Ability to work effectively with others Willingness to participate in a Criminal Record Background CheckThe candidate will also have the ability to work days, evenings and weekends for 32-40 hours per week.
