Speech Language Pathologist

The Alberta Health Services is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Speech Language Pathologist to join our team. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will provide clinical professional practice both independently and as a part of a collaborative team, which may include external partners.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide prevention, health promotion, identification, assessment, intervention, and case management.
- Participate in the planning, coordination and delivery of rehabilitation services in collaboration with patients/clients, families, healthcare professionals and other partners.
- Supervise students and provide clinical guidance to other staff as appropriate.
- Inform ongoing quality improvement, service integration, and program development with your clinical expertise.
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Active or eligible registration and practice permit with the Alberta College of Speech Language Pathologists and Audiologists (ACSLPA).
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS-HCP) certification.
- Recent adult inpatient acute care experience within Alberta.
- Experience with complex medical patient populations (end of life, chronic disease management, post ICU, dementia).
- Instrumental assessment (VFSS) competence.
