Job Title: Gas Station Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Gas Station Supervisor to join our team at Stouffville Husky/Esso. As a key member of our retail operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of our gas station, ensuring excellent customer service, and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and train staff to ensure excellent customer service and efficient operations
  • Assign sales workers to duties and oversee their performance
  • Hire and train new staff members or arrange for their training
  • Authorize payments, order merchandise, and manage inventory
  • Establish work schedules and oversee payroll administration
  • Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters
  • Resolve customer complaints and supply shortages
  • Organize and maintain inventory, and supervise and coordinate activities of workers
  • Manage cash and oversee security and safety protocols
Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of experience in a retail or gas station environment
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure
  • Manual dexterity and attention to detail
  • Ability to distinguish between colors and stand for extended periods
  • Flexibility and reliability
Working Conditions:
  • Fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
  • Combination of sitting, standing, and walking
  • Ability to work in a non-smoking environment
