At Banff National Perk Cafe, we are seeking a skilled Culinary Operations Manager to join our team.

This is a permanent position with a competitive salary of $65,000 - $75,000 per year, based on experience.

Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized individual who can oversee the day-to-day operations of our food service department.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Establishing methods to meet work schedules and ensuring that food and service meet quality control standards;
  • Requisitioning food and kitchen supplies and maintaining records of stock and repairs;
  • Supervising and co-ordinating activities of staff who prepare and portion food, including training staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures;
  • Hiring food service staff and preparing budget and cost estimates;
  • Addressing customers' complaints or concerns and ensuring that all interactions are professional and courteous;
  • Maintaining accurate records of sales, wastage, and other key performance indicators;
  • Preparing and submitting reports on a regular basis;
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A College/CEGEP education in a relevant field such as hospitality or culinary arts;
  • 1-2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a fast-paced food service environment;
