About the Role

FunctionAbility Rehabilitation Services is seeking a highly skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team in providing expert assessment and treatment services to individuals suffering from traumatic and acquired neurological injuries and severe orthopedic injuries.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and treat individuals with various neurological, orthopedic disorders, mental health, and injuries
  • Assist clients in establishing and meeting meaningful goals within their home and community setting
  • Create and implement individualized treatment plans based on occupational analysis and clinical reasoning
  • Liaise with community partners and rehab professionals to facilitate client goals and independence
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending training sessions and establishing personal networks
Requirements
  • University Degree in Occupational Therapy
  • Member in good standing with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario (COTO)
  • Valid Driver's Licence and access to a vehicle
  • Minimum of 1 year of general OT mental health experience
  • Completion of at least one of the following courses: CBT, ACT, DBT
