About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to join our interdisciplinary care team at the Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre. As a key member of our Allied Health Services team, you will provide high-quality Occupational Therapy services to patients in our acute inpatient surgical units.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive assessment, treatment, and documentation of patient care
  • Collaborate with interprofessional teams to develop and implement patient-centered care plans
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and caregivers
  • Stay up-to-date with best practices and evidence-based research in Occupational Therapy
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program or university with a clinical Masters in Occupational Therapy (or equivalent)
  • Current registration with the College of Occupational Therists of Ontario
  • Member of the Canadian Association of Occupational Therapists (preferred)
  • Evidence of continuing education in Acute Care Occupational Therapy
  • Completion of training certification for MoCA testing
  • Recent Occupational Therapy experience in acute care (medical and surgical) and/or rehabilitation settings
