Global Supply Chain Coordinator

Cooke Inc., a leading global seafood company, is seeking a skilled Logistics Coordinator to join its team in Saint John, New Brunswick.
The role offers a competitive salary of $65,000 - $75,000 per year, plus benefits and opportunities for career growth.
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity to work with a dynamic team responsible for arranging the safe transport of temperature-sensitive products to customers in a timely and efficient manner.
- Coordinate daily logistics needs to and from various plant locations.
- Liaise with plants, distribution facilities, customers, and carriers to ensure timely movement of products via various modes and equipment types.
- Manage ocean, rail, and air freight with multiple vendors.
- Create optimized transportation routes and schedules using Transportation Management software.
- Schedule pick-up and delivery appointments as necessary.
- Track and trace shipments daily; troubleshoot problems as they arise.
Successful candidates will have superior customer relationship skills, strong organizational skills, effective negotiating and communication skills, a can-do attitude, and an entrepreneurial spirit.
