We are seeking a highly skilled Booking Specialist to join our team in Saint John, New Brunswick.
Job OverviewThe Global Account Services Booking Specialist will be responsible for coordinating group hotel bookings from key global accounts, providing crucial assistance to our sales team and customers, and helping enable revenue growth while gaining exposure across all aspects of the end-to-end sales process.
This exciting and fast-paced support selling role requires strong communication skills, ability to multi-task, and knowledge of the travel industry. The ideal candidate will have experience in a call center atmosphere or the travel industry, with practical knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook and Excel.
Responsibilities- Coordinating group hotel bookings from key global accounts
- Providing crucial assistance to our sales team and customers
- Helping enable revenue growth
- Utilizing internal revenue management tools to forecast rates and availability
- Sales skills are required to convert opportunities
- Supporting contract execution to help secure business for assigned key accounts
- Booking reservations or group blocks
