We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Regional Director, Resources and Industry to join our team at CIMA+. This is a key leadership position that will play a critical role in the development and implementation of our strategic plan for the region.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the personnel management of the Abitibi region, ensuring effective team performance and development.
- Develop and implement the strategic plan for the region, aligning with the company's overall goals and objectives.
- Monitor local business opportunities, building relationships with stakeholders and identifying potential partnerships.
- Contribute to business development strategies and activities with customers in the region, driving growth and revenue.
- Oversee the delivery of projects with local clients, ensuring high-quality results and customer satisfaction.
- Maintain and develop business relationships with existing clients, while identifying new opportunities for growth.
- Represent CIMA+ in local business and socio-economic development activities, promoting the company's expertise and services.
- Manage business operations, including project management, production of deliverables, and financial management.
- University degree or college diploma in mechanical, industrial, electrical, or civil engineering or equivalent.
- Minimum 10 years' relevant experience, preferably with a consulting engineering firm.
- Knowledge of the mining and metals, or heavy industrial sector.
- Significant network of contacts in the mining and metals, or heavy industrial sectors.
- Experience with P&L responsibilities.
- Licensed Professional Engineer.
- Entrepreneurial spirit, strategic vision, business acumen.
- Expertise in team management and mobilizing leadership.
- Expertise in business development and operations management.
- Proactivity, autonomy, and ability to work under pressure.
- Recognized expertise in engineering project management and relevant experience in construction, planning, and estimating.
- Strong organizational skills, rigor, and judgment.
- Acts ethically and demonstrates a high capacity for collaboration.
