Electrical Building Technician

AtkinsRéalis is a dynamic and growing company in Abitibi-Témiscamingue. We have multiple offices and offer engineering and consulting services mainly to clients in the region and the North. Our team is a driving force for economic development in the region.

Your Role in the Team

As an Electrical Building Technician, you will be responsible for:

  • Designing electrical systems such as distribution, lighting, fire alarms, and other related systems;
  • Modeling 2D and 3D designs using Autocad and REVIT platforms;
  • Writing and performing calculations related to design;
  • Participating in the preparation of electrical technical proposals;
  • Participating in the preparation of electrical technical studies;
  • Evaluating the costs of work;
  • Performing all these responsibilities under the supervision of the responsible engineer.

Required Qualifications

  • DEP, AEC, or DEC in electrical building or equivalent;
  • Minimum 2 years of experience on industrial and institutional building electrical projects;
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook software;
  • Proficiency in REVIT software, an asset;
  • Proficiency in AutoCad software, an asset.
