Position Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Accident Benefits Claims Specialist to join our team in Ontario, Canada.
The successful candidate will investigate, evaluate, negotiate, and settle Accident Benefits claims by telephone and correspondence.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work effectively with insureds, adjusters, clients, and other stakeholders.
As a member of our Workforce Advantage team, you will be part of a dynamic and experienced group of professionals.
The role is a contract position, typically 3-12 months in length, with the possibility of extension or permanent placement with the client.
Requirements
- Post-secondary education in Business, Health Sciences, or related field is preferred.
- 4+ years of Accident Benefit Adjusting experience required.
- Must be comfortable with hybrid work when needed.
- CIP Designation or working toward completion.
- ADR and Litigation including LAT experience is an asset.
- Proficient knowledge of SABS.
- Must be able to obtain Ontario insurance license.
- Knowledge of medical and legal information and terminology.
- Advanced level of English (Verbal and written) is required.
