Toronto, Canada Zulu Alpha Kilo Inc. Full time

Zulu Alpha Kilo is seeking a highly skilled Billing Specialist to join our Finance team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing client accounting, billings, and project management.

Key Responsibilities:

Client Accounting:

  • Manage client billings, including generating invoices and tracking payments
  • Partner with Financial Managers to resolve client issues and ensure consistency in our processes
  • Work closely with account teams to monitor and update job dockets as required
  • Determine and calculate month-end accruals
  • Reconcile, maintain, and close job dockets
  • Monitor accounts receivable and follow up as necessary

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of accounting experience in a fast-paced environment, preferably in an agency setting
  • Post-secondary degree or diploma in finance or a related field
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills
  • Ability to work cohesively in a team environment
  • Able to prioritize projects and juggle tasks
  • High level of accuracy in work; meticulous attention to detail
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Sense of humor
