About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Culinary Arts Professional to join our team at THE TANDOOR. As an Ethnic Food Preparation Specialist, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods, ensuring the highest quality and presentation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Planning and Preparation: Develop and implement menus that showcase the flavors and traditions of East Indian cuisine.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and train kitchen staff and helpers to ensure seamless kitchen operations.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records of food, supplies, and equipment to optimize kitchen efficiency.
  • Cleanliness and Sanitation: Ensure the kitchen and work areas are clean and sanitized to meet health and safety standards.
  • Staff Management: Recruit, hire, and manage kitchen staff to meet the needs of THE TANDOOR.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 35 hours per week.
