We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Ethnic Food Preparation Specialist to join our team at THE TANDOOR. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of ethnic dishes to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Planning and Preparation: Develop and implement menus that showcase the flavors and ingredients of different ethnic cuisines.
  • Culinary Operations: Supervise and coordinate the preparation and cooking of meals, ensuring that all dishes are prepared to the highest standards of quality and presentation.
  • Staff Training and Development: Train and mentor kitchen staff in the preparation and cooking of ethnic dishes, as well as in food safety and handling procedures.
  • Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, ensuring that we have the necessary stock to meet customer demand.
  • Quality Control: Conduct regular quality control checks to ensure that all dishes meet our high standards of quality and presentation.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks and work under pressure.
