Occupational Therapist for Trauma Rehabilitation Services

Job Overview: FunctionAbility Rehabilitation Services is a leading provider of multidisciplinary rehabilitation services in Ontario. We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team.
About the Role: As an Occupational Therapist with our company, you will have the opportunity to work with clients who have suffered traumatic and acquired neurological injuries and severe orthopedic injuries. You will assess and treat individuals, assist clients with establishing and meeting meaningful goals, create and implement individualized treatment plans, and liaise with community partners and rehab professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and treat individuals suffering from various neurological, orthopedic disorders, mental health, and injuries
- Assist clients with establishing and meeting meaningful goals within their home and in a community setting
- Create and implement individualized treatment plans based on occupational analysis and clinical reasoning
- Liaise with a variety of community partners and rehab professionals to facilitate client goals and independence
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Therapy
- Member in good standing with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario (COTO)
- Valid Driver's Licence and access to a vehicle
- Minimum of 1 year of general OT mental health experience
- Completion of at least one of the following courses: CBT, ACT, DBT

Estimated Salary Range: $60,000 - $80,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
