Mental Health Occupational Therapist for Multidisciplinary Rehabilitation

At FunctionAbility Rehabilitation Services, we are seeking a dedicated and client-centered Occupational Therapist to join our team. As an Occupational Therapist with our company, you will have the opportunity to work in a multidisciplinary environment, providing expert assessment and treatment services to individuals suffering from various neurological, orthopedic disorders, mental health, and injuries.
About the RoleThis is a full-time position that requires a University Degree in Occupational Therapy and membership in good standing with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario (COTO). The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1 year of general OT mental health experience and completion of at least one of the following courses: CBT, ACT, DBT. If not already completed, there is an opportunity to take one of these courses within the first year of employment.
We offer a competitive salary of $85,000 - $95,000 per annum, depending on experience. Our benefits package includes casual dress, company events, dental care, disability insurance, employee assistance program, extended health care, flexible schedule, life insurance, and wellness program.
Responsibilities- Assess and treat individuals suffering from various neurological, orthopedic disorders, mental health, and injuries.
- Assist clients with establishing and meeting meaningful goals within their home and in a community setting.
- Create and implement individualized treatment plans based on occupational analysis and clinical reasoning.
- Liaise with a variety of community partners and rehab professionals to facilitate client goals and independence.
- Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending training sessions and establishing personal networks.
