As a Human Resources Generalist, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our client's talent strategy and organizational culture. In this dynamic manufacturing setting, you'll partner closely with business leaders to perform HR functions, driving employee engagement and retention.

The ideal candidate has a solid understanding of HR processes and best practices, with experience in recruitment, payroll, benefits administration, and employee relations. Proficiency with HRIS software (UKG) and MS Office Suite is also essential. Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills are necessary to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.

Responsibilities

  • Lead full-cycle recruitment, including sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding new employees.
  • Oversee timecard approvals, assist with payroll, and verify agency invoices.
  • Collaborate with external temporary staffing agencies and manage their workforce quality and performance.
  • Support benefits administration, leave tracking, and return-to-work processes.
  • Provide HR support for employee relations, including handling performance concerns and workplace conflicts.
  • Assist with the implementation of HRIS software (UKG) to streamline HR processes.
  • Maintain organized and confidential employee records and files.
  • Actively engage in employee training, HR initiatives, and morale-boosting programs.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or Organizational Development, or a combination of education and relevant HR experience.
  • 2-3 years of HR experience, ideally within a manufacturing environment.
  • Solid understanding of HR processes and best practices.
  • Proficiency with HRIS software (UKG) and MS Office Suite.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
