About the Role

The Sales Coordinator is a key member of the Siemens Energy team, responsible for driving business growth and customer satisfaction in the region. This role requires a strong understanding of commercial sales principles and the ability to analyze technical and commercial specifications to generate proposals that meet customer needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze customer technical and commercial specifications to generate proposals that meet customer needs.
  • Coordinate activities in the territory of responsibility, including quote monitoring, follow-ups, and contract management.
  • Support the sales team with customer management and business development initiatives.
  • Develop and suggest action plans to increase efficiency of the inside sales department.
  • Aggressively follow up on key target projects and open quotes.
  • Support the sales team in preparing and proposing regional strategies and action plans.
  • Identify market trends, including pricing and competitor behavior.
  • Report as required and conduct win-loss analysis.
  • Provide technical and commercial support to customers and agents as needed.
  • Generate reports as required.

Requirements

  • Technician or engineering degree is desirable.
  • A minimum of 1 year of technical and/or commercial experience in technical sales, inside sales, or marketing.
  • Self-motivated individual with excellent organizational skills.
  • Fluent in French and advanced English communication skills.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills to interact with external customers and staff within the organization.
  • Proficiency in using personal computers and software, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Windows.
  • Building relationships, negotiation skills, and results-driven approach.
  • SAP knowledge is a plus.
  • Ability to travel as required (no more than 5% of the time).
