About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Stock Clerk Supervisor to join our team at Canadian Tire. As a key member of our retail operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our stock clerks and ensuring that our stores are well-stocked and organized.

Key Responsibilities
  • Hiring and Training: Recruit, train, and develop the skills of our stock clerks to ensure they have the necessary knowledge and skills to perform their duties effectively.
  • Inventory Management: Oversee the receipt, storage, and distribution of merchandise to ensure that our stores are well-stocked and that inventory levels are accurately maintained.
  • Merchandising: Work with our buying team to ensure that our stores are merchandised effectively and that our customers have access to a wide range of products.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service by responding to customer inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring that our customers have a positive shopping experience.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and analyze reports on sales volumes, inventory levels, and other key performance indicators to inform business decisions.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience: 1-2 years of experience in a retail or inventory management role.
  • Skills: Strong leadership and communication skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and proficiency in inventory management software.
