Bakery Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced baker to join our team at Aunty's Kitchen. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for leading our baking team and ensuring the highest quality products are produced.
Key Responsibilities- Product Preparation: Prepare dough for pies, bread, rolls, and sweet goods, as well as batters for muffins, cookies, and cakes, according to recipes or special customer orders.
- Pastry Preparation: Prepare pastry for special occasions, such as weddings and birthdays.
- Inventory Management: Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed.
- Baking and Decorating: Bake mixed dough and batters, frost and decorate cakes and baked goods.
- Team Leadership: Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food, supervise baking personnel and kitchen staff, and ensure that the quality of products meets established standards.
- Operations Management: Draw up production schedules, schedule staff, and inspect kitchen and food service areas.
- Staff Management: Hire and dismiss staff, and oversee sales and merchandising of baked goods.
- Customer Service: Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a baking or related role.
- Supervision: 3-4 people.
- Security and Safety: Basic security clearance.
- Personal Suitability: Client focus, dependability, team player, patience.
- Free Parking: Available on site.
- Work Term: Permanent.
- Work Language: English.
- Hours: 40 hours per week.
