Healthcare Social Worker

Nova Scotia Health is seeking a skilled Healthcare Social Worker to join our team in the OSI Clinic. As a member of an interdisciplinary team, you will deliver mental health treatment services to Veterans and their families, providing specialized assessment and treatment for work-related psychological stress and trauma.
The successful candidate will have a Master's degree in Social Work from a recognized university, registration with the Nova Scotia College of Social Workers, and a minimum of two years related clinical experience. They will also possess training in evidence-based therapies for PTSD, depression, anxiety disorders, and knowledge of substance misuse. Experience working in an interdisciplinary service delivery model, providing evidence-based trauma-focused therapy, and working with families and couples is required.

HoursThis is a permanent part-time position, working 45 hours bi-weekly. The successful candidate will be required to work a hybrid schedule, with some flexibility to work variable hours and evenings.
Compensation and BenefitsThe successful candidate will receive a competitive salary, ranging from $49.05 to $33.27 per hour, depending on experience. They will also be eligible for our comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, travel, long-term disability, and life insurance coverage, as well as a defined benefit pension plan.
