About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Line Cook to join our team at Noodlebox. As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities
  • Determine Food Portion Sizes and Costs

You will be responsible for determining the size of food portions and estimating costs to ensure that our menu items are priced correctly.

Plan Menus and Estimate Food Requirements

You will work with our culinary team to plan menus and estimate food requirements to ensure that we have the necessary ingredients and supplies to meet customer demand.

Prepare and Cook Meals

You will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods to a high standard, using a variety of cooking techniques and ingredients.

Prepare Dishes for Customers with Food Allergies or Intolerances

You will work with our kitchen team to prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances, ensuring that their dietary needs are met.

Inspect Kitchens and Food Service Areas

You will be responsible for inspecting kitchens and food service areas to ensure that they are clean and meet health and safety standards.

Maintain Inventory and Records

You will be responsible for maintaining inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment to ensure that we have the necessary resources to meet customer demand.

Clean Kitchen and Work Areas

You will be responsible for cleaning kitchen and work areas to ensure that they are clean and meet health and safety standards.

Work Environment

As a Line Cook at Noodlebox, you will work in a fast-paced environment with a team of experienced chefs and kitchen staff. You will be required to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.

You will be a team player who is able to work effectively with others to achieve common goals.

Work Term: Permanent

You will be a permanent member of our team, working a minimum of 32 hours per week.

Work Language: English

You will be required to communicate effectively in English to ensure that you can work safely and efficiently in our kitchen environment.
