We are seeking a skilled Line Cook to join our team at Van Gogh Grill & Bar. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality meals for our customers.
Key Responsibilities- Food Preparation: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods to the highest standards of quality and presentation.
- Customer Service: Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances, ensuring their safety and satisfaction.
- Team Management: Supervise kitchen staff and helpers, providing guidance and support to ensure seamless kitchen operations.
- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory records of food, supplies, and equipment, ensuring efficient ordering and stock management.
- Cleanliness and Safety: Inspect kitchens and food service areas, maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a similar role.
- Certifications: Safe Food Handling certificate.
As a Line Cook at Van Gogh Grill & Bar, you will work in a fast-paced environment, handling heavy loads and standing for extended periods. You will be part of a dynamic team that values teamwork, communication, and attention to detail.
