Line Cook

Cineplex is seeking a skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality food in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and cook food items in the pantry, fry, and/or stations or other areas of the kitchen.
- Set up station according to restaurant guidelines and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Follow recipes, portion controls, and presentation specifications to ensure quality and consistency.
- Restock all items as needed throughout the shift and maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment.
- Assist with the cleaning, sanitation, and organization of the kitchen, walk-in coolers, and all storage areas.
- Perform additional responsibilities as requested by the Chef or Sous Chef.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Minimum 1 year of cooking experience required.
- Demonstrate knowledge of food and catering trends, quality, production, sanitation, food cost controls, and presentation.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
- Computer literacy and attention to detail.
This position will spend 100% of the time standing and will be constantly exposed to high temperatures in the kitchen environment.
