Job Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Strategic HR Leader to join our North American team. This is a hybrid role, with a minimum of one day per week in our office.

About the Role

The Senior HR Manager will lead a small team of HR professionals and report directly to the Global Head of HR. Your primary focus will be on delivering exceptional employee experiences through operational and strategic initiatives, including compensation, benefits, employee relations, reporting/analytics, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as the main point of contact for all North American staff regarding people matters.
  • Advise, upskill, and influence senior leadership to resolve people-related issues and address evolving organizational needs.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, regulations, and best practices.
  • Expertly navigate US benefits and related programs.
  • Lead change management initiatives, including organizational design.
  • Manage group company pay review and promotions processes.
  • Develop, report on, and provide actionable insights and strategy across key people metrics to inform business decisions.
Requirements

We are looking for an experienced HR professional with relevant experience in North America, specifically in matrixed organizations with 200+ headcount. A SHRM designation or equivalent demonstrated expertise is essential, along with continuous professional development.

Key qualifications include:

  • Current Human Resources experience in North America.
  • SHRM designation or equivalent evidence of experience.
  • Business partnership/advisory experience to senior leadership.
  • Expert knowledge of federal/state specific statutory reporting requirements.
  • Evidenced knowledge of employment laws and EEOC requirements.
  • North American benefits and insurance brokerage administration experience.
  • Experience applying HR policies and fair labor laws.
  • A strategic thinker with hands-on problem-solving skills.
  • Data-driven storytelling ability and critical thinking.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Innovative and adaptable in an agile work environment.
  • US benefits and healthcare landscape experience.
  • Familiarity with mergers and acquisitions would be beneficial.
