About the Role:

The Co-operators is seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Associate Insurance Advisor I to join our team. As a key player in the support and development of our agency operation, you will be responsible for the sales and service of Co-operators personal lines products, including auto and home insurance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales and service of personal lines insurance products to meet client needs and achieve profitable growth.
  • Advise and recommend coverages and policies that best meet client needs, leveraging knowledge of auto and property insurance products.
  • Prospect and cross-sell by identifying and recommending additional products and services that benefit the client.
  • Complete front-line risk assessment and selection following underwriting guidelines.
  • Identify and manage risks that require inspections and re-inspections, and may be required to complete inspections.
  • Achieve individual goals for client service, sales, quality, and productivity.
  • Support programs to build multi-client relationships and provide exceptional customer service.

Requirements:

  • General Insurance License is required or must be obtained within two months.
  • Meet all provincial-licensing requirements in accordance with continuing education to obtain and maintain all licenses.
  • One year of sales and service experience or related business experience is preferred.
  • Knowledge of auto and property insurance products and experience with selling techniques is an asset.
