Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Dietary Aide to join our team at Golden Links Lodge Personal Care Home. As a Dietary Aide, you will play a vital role in ensuring the health and well-being of our residents by providing exceptional food service and nutrition support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and serve meals to residents, ensuring that all dietary needs are met.
  • Assist with food preparation, including portioning, serving, and cleaning duties.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
  • Operate dietary equipment, including dishwashers and refrigerators.
  • Assist with inventory management, including receiving and storing supplies.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance food service and resident satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Grade 10 education or equivalent.
  • Food Handlers training certificate Level 1 or equivalent.
  • Previous food service experience preferred.
  • Ability to speak, read, write, and comprehend fluent English.
  • Good physical and mental health to meet the demands of the position.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a positive attitude.
Working Conditions

The Dietary Aide will work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, interacting with residents, staff, and visitors. The successful candidate will be required to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends.
