Le directeur, gestion du risque d'assurance contribue au succès de l'équipe de gestion des risques en agissant comme expert en gestion du risque d'assurance dans le processus d'évaluation du risque lors de changements (CMRA), en supervisant la production du rapport annuel d'évaluation interne des risques et de la solvabilité (ORSA) ainsi qu'en participant à la révision de l'évaluation des réserves, à la révision des analyses de tarification, de la stratégie de réassurance et dans le développement d'analyses et d'outils.

Se rapportant directement à la Directrice principale, Gestion du risque d'assurance :

  • Responsable de la stratégie et de l'exécution du programme d'analyses actuarielles indépendantes pour TD Assurance Générale, notamment :
    • Examen annuel indépendant de l'évaluation des réserves
    • Examen annuel indépendant des analyses de tarification
    • Revue des hypothèses et des méthodes utilisées dans les analyses actuarielles
    • Revue indépendante du renouvellement des traités de réassurance et de la stratégie de réassurance
    • Documentation et communication des conclusions à l'équipe de gestion et aux exécutifs par l'intermédiaire de divers comités du risque
  • Agir comme expert en gestion du risque d'assurance dans le processus d'évaluation du risque lors de changements en effectuant des revues des initiatives de l'entreprise affectant les primes, les réclamations, les réserves et le plan d'affaire
  • Participer au processus d'évaluation de l'adéquation du capital pour l'assurance générale, y compris mais non limité à :
    • Gestion du processus d'évaluation interne des risques et de la solvabilité (ORSA), incluant la production du rapport annuel, l'évaluation des risques et la revue des cibles internes de capital.
  • Contribuer à la remise en question des processus d'évaluation et de gestion de risque d'assurance de manière à respecter l'énoncé d'appétence au risque dans l'ensemble de l'entreprise
  • Fournir une expertise actuarielle pour la remise en question de l'identification des risques dans le cadre de divers programmes de gestion des risques de l'entreprise.
  • Collaborer au développement de nouvelles politiques et participer à une revue de qualité des politiques existantes.
  • Contribuer à l'établissement, au développement et au maintien de relations efficaces avec nos partenaires d'affaires dans les différentes lignes d'affaires, au corporatif et dans les fonctions de contrôle tout en s'assurant de l'alignement avec les requis de l'entreprise et réglementaire
  • Rester à l'affût des nouveaux enjeux, des tendances et des changements règlementaires tout en évaluant leurs impacts
  • Maintenir une culture de gestion de risques et de contrôles supportée par des processus efficaces respectant l'appétence aux risques
  • Participer à l'élaboration, en collaboration avec nos partenaires, d'indicateurs de risque clés pour le risque d'assurance
  • Participer au développement d'analyses et d'outils permettant d'identifier la tendance au risque pour remettre en question l'évaluation et la gestion des risques d'assurance de nos partenaires
  • Participer à la conception et mettre en œuvre des améliorations aux processus de l'équipe afin d'effectuer des revues plus efficaces et plus instructives
  • Fournir un leadership éclairé et transmettre les connaissances propres à son domaine d'expertise à l'équipe et l'unité d'affaire
  • Gérer une équipe d'analystes en actuariat, contribuer au développement des compétences et des capacités de l'équipe grâce au mentorat, en partageant les connaissances et les expériences et en tirant parti des meilleures pratiques
