Job Title: Actuarial Manager

Travelers is seeking an experienced Actuarial Manager to join our team. As an Actuarial Manager, you will be responsible for leading and managing actuarial projects and initiatives, providing analytical insights and recommendations to leadership and business partners, and working closely with cross-functional teams to drive business growth and profitability.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage actuarial projects and initiatives, including developing and implementing actuarial models and methodologies.
  • Provide analytical insights and recommendations to leadership and business partners, including identifying trends and opportunities for growth and improvement.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including actuarial, analytics, and business partners, to drive business growth and profitability.
  • Develop and maintain actuarial models and methodologies, including data analysis and statistical modeling.
  • Collaborate with business partners to identify and prioritize actuarial projects and initiatives.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field, such as mathematics, statistics, or actuarial science.
  • Associate Actuarial Credential or equivalent experience.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas and results to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience with actuarial software and tools, including data analysis and statistical modeling.
  • Strong leadership and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
