We are seeking a highly skilled Payroll and Benefits Specialist to join our team at Doman Building Materials Group Ltd. in Vancouver, BC.
Key Responsibilities- Process payroll for approximately 800 Canadian hourly, union, and salaried employees at multiple locations using ADP's Workforce Now (WFN) system.
- Prepare payroll journal entries, reconcile, and prepare reports to ensure accurate and timely payment of employees.
- Administer employee benefits, including processing enrolment, terminations, and changes, and reconciling monthly benefits statements.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date information in payroll and time and attendance database.
- Assist managers and employees with payroll-related questions and provide excellent customer service.
- Ensure compliance with CRA regulations and provincial Employment Standards.
- Proficient in ADP Workforce Now and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Minimum two (2) years' experience with full-cycle Canadian payroll administration.
- Experience processing hourly and salaried payroll.
- Minimum one (1) year's experience with benefits administration.
- Fundamental understanding of accounting principles.
- Knowledgeable about CRA regulations and provincial Employment Standards.
- Meticulous, accurate, and detail-oriented with excellent communication skills.
