Job Summary

The Programme Coordinator, Reconciliation, will support the work of the Reconciliation Sphere of Interest by implementing its strategy and being attentive to community needs in various aspects of ongoing activities. The Programme Coordinator plays a crucial role in supporting the Programme Director, Reconciliation by reviewing contribution requests, following up on these requests, collaborating with reconciliation partners, and providing comprehensive administrative support.

Main Responsibilities (Summary)

  1. Program Support: Assist the Programme Director, Reconciliation in planning, communicating, and operationalizing the Foundation's reconciliation objectives and commitments.

  2. Administration: Coordinate comprehensive administrative support for the Reconciliation Sphere of Interest's contribution process and support the receipt, review, and follow-up of contribution requests.

  3. Collaboration and Representation: Interact with integrity with community partners, representing the Foundation, its values, and its reconciliation commitments, and explore new opportunities to concretize the spirit and intention of reconciliation in Canada, thereby increasing the scope of the Foundation's policy and practice efforts.

Requirements

  1. Bilingualism with excellent oral and written skills in English or French.

  2. Experience and understanding of non-profit organizations and community-serving initiatives.

  3. Three to four years of experience in program administration and support.

  4. Post-secondary degree or equivalent experience.

  5. Adherence to Indigenous frameworks and practices.

  6. Ability and consent to travel.

  3. Understanding of the context and trends specific to the Foundation's spheres of interest and Canadian philanthropy.

  4. Experience in animating and coordinating groups.

  5. Experience with monitoring, evaluation, and learning processes and frameworks.
