Job Title: Physics Gameplay Programmer

Job Summary:

Quantic Dream is seeking a highly skilled Physics Gameplay Programmer to join our team. As a key member of our R&D department, you will contribute to the development of our physics engine and collision system for our online multiplayer project.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Project Lead Programmer and Engine Engineers to design and implement a robust physics engine and collision system.
  • Work closely with the Game Designer to ensure that the physics engine meets the gameplay needs and vision of the project.
  • Provide technical advice and support to game designers to help them achieve their goals.
  • Design, improve, and test features that enable a simple and efficient physics simulation and detection system.
  • Coordinate and communicate with the creative teams to ensure that the physics engine and collision system meet the project's requirements.

Requirements:

  • Degree in computer science, physics, mathematics, or equivalent degree.
  • Between 2 and 5 years of experience in video game development, with experience on a multiplayer title being a plus.
  • Solid understanding of the laws of physics related to dynamics.
  • Perfect mastery of C++.
