Job Title: Legal Office Administrator

We are seeking a highly skilled and organized Legal Office Administrator to join our team at GPAC. As a key member of our administrative staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional support to our lawyers and clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and maintain accurate and up-to-date records and files
  • Provide administrative support to lawyers and clients, including scheduling, correspondence, and data entry
  • Assist with payroll processing and management, including preparing and submitting payroll reports
  • Coordinate and prepare conference rooms and materials for client meetings
  • Handle incoming and outgoing mail, including preparing and sending correspondence
  • Manage social media and coordinate with IT to maintain the firm's website and computer systems
  • Perform other administrative tasks as needed
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or related field
  • Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) designation preferred
  • Previous experience in payroll processing and management, preferably in a legal or regulated industry
  • In-depth knowledge of payroll laws, regulations, and best practices
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with keen attention to detail
  • 3+ years of experience in a law office setting
  • Proficiency in payroll software and Microsoft Excel
  • Proficiency in Leap
  • Exceptional communication skills (in person/on the phone)
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and integrity
  • Strong organization and time-management skills, prioritization
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Treasury experience
