Job Description:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Medical Administrative Coordinator to join our team at Hellenic Care for Seniors (Toronto) Inc. in Toronto.

About the Role:

This permanent position offers a competitive salary of approximately $45,000 per year, plus benefits and opportunities for growth and development.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Schedule and confirm appointments with patients, healthcare professionals, and other stakeholders.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date filing systems, both physical and electronic.
  • Order supplies and manage inventory levels to ensure efficient operations.
  • Arrange travel itineraries and make reservations as needed.
  • Prepare and edit medical reports, correspondence, and spreadsheets for review by healthcare professionals.
  • Initiate and maintain confidential medical files and records, adhering to strict confidentiality protocols.
  • Prepare meeting agendas, take minutes, and distribute them to relevant parties.
  • Perform data entry tasks with high accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
Requirements:
  • Certificate or diploma from a college, CEGEP, or non-university program (1-2 years).
  • At least 1 year of experience in a medical administrative role, preferably in a nursing home or home for the aged setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and Windows operating system.
