About Blue Rectangle Interior Decoration Canada Inc

We are a leading custom cabinet shop and furniture manufacturing company seeking a skilled Cabinetmaker to join our team. As a Cabinetmaker, you will be responsible for creating high-quality custom cabinets and furniture pieces for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Fabrication: Design and fabricate custom cabinets and furniture pieces to meet client specifications.
  • Woodworking: Operate woodworking machines, such as power saws, jointers, mortisers, and shapers, to cut, shape, and form parts and components.
  • Assembly and Finishing: Assemble and finish custom cabinets and furniture pieces, including sanding, staining, and applying varnish or polish.
  • Quality Control: Inspect and test custom cabinets and furniture pieces to ensure they meet quality and safety standards.
  • Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other team members to meet production deadlines and achieve business goals.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in cabinetmaking and furniture manufacturing.
  • Certifications: First Aid Certificate and Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate.
  • Skills: Manual dexterity, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
