About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Cabinetmaker to join our team at Blue Rectangle Interior Decoration Canada Inc. As a Cabinetmaker, you will be responsible for creating high-quality custom furniture and cabinets for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate woodworking machines to cut, shape, and form parts and components
  • Prepare specifications for custom-made cabinets to maximize storage
  • Shape surfaces or edges of wood workpieces using hand tools
  • Study plans and specifications to create custom furniture and cabinets
  • Trim joints and fit parts together to form complete units
  • Sand and finish wood surfaces to create a smooth finish
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment
  • Supervise other workers and ensure quality control
Requirements
  • College diploma or equivalent in cabinetmaking or a related field
  • 1-2 years of experience in cabinetmaking or a related field
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  • Excellent attention to detail and quality control skills
  • Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
